EDUCATION Secretary, Dr Uke Kombra, has announced that due to the Gazettal of Kila Kila Secondary School as a counting venue by the Electoral Commission, the term two holidays for this school is extended by one more week.
The week-long extension is given to allow the counting of votes at this school to be completed by July 16.
All the other schools in the National Capital District and throughout the country which come under the National Education System must resume classes for Term 3 on Monday, July 10.
Classes for Kila Kila Secondary will resume for Term 3 on Monday, July 17.
The department regrets any inconveniences caused, but assures parents and students that the school will make arrangements to cover for the lost instructional hours in Terms 3 and 4.
